Branding a business, shouldn’t be that difficult especially when it’s just a small business. Aside not having large capitals, for adverts or promoting. Getting a business loan is another way for it. But a lot of us are skeptical with the risks that comes with loans.

Fear not every great successful business started somewhere. Some are joined, while some started with loans. Take Google for example,  began as a research project, then which was officially founded, after receiving about a $100,000 investment.

Here are the ways by which you you can brand your small business easily.

1. Branding Online.

We are in the digital age now, you own a business, and it’s not online. It’s as if you are not taking the business seriously. Whatever your company name is, you should also have the .com name associated with it.

And it’s not only you having a personal website for your brand. Extending to social media platforms like Instagram and the rest. Imagine you running a local design center. Let’s say a printing business. Domain names like iprint.com or printingpress.com, would do a lot of good to your brand. telling the world it’s just not a business, it’s a brand.

Now if you are a freelancer. A freelancer like me. having a customized domain name with your name is a sure way to go trust me. It adds that uniqueness. It’s not just enough doing business. This little things goes a long way. It’s not until you spend millions on advertisement.

2. Brand Your business On promotional Items People Use Every Day.

We’ve talked about branding online. Branding on promotional items, are also a long shot. What Do I Mean?

Imaging your brand, on promotional items like; calendars, pens, jotters, books, clothes and the rest. These are things people uses on a daily basis. Your website might not be in their heads, your brand name might not even get stuck with them.

But you see calendars, clothing. Those are the real deal. The calendar can be hung up their wall everyday for 365 days. Your clothing could be worn almost everyday. Even if they wanna forget you, The sake of using those promotional items daily will always ring a bell, if they actually forgot about your brand.

3. Branding To Your Neighbors.

Permit me to say, this is the most easiest way of branding your small business. Before you want to go all out, branding online, branding on promotional items. Does your neighbor know you, does your friend, does your community, does the local market.

While doing the above is very good, I feel this should be the starting point. when your neighbors get to know you and your brand. They broadcast you freely. Its a free promotion. And mind you, consistency is the key. Keep on selling your brand to your close ones, before going out and watch your brand grow.

Branding a business is not about spending millions, or billions. Don’t get the wrong idea. It’s a good thing I mean if you can afford it. And if you can’t, going for a business loan is not a bad idea either.
