We get things wrong sometimes. Every publication does. What matters is what you do about it.

At BizPremi, we take accuracy seriously. When a factual error makes it into a published article whether it is a wrong figure, a misleading statement, or outdated information presented as current we correct it promptly and transparently. We do not quietly edit articles and pretend the error never happened. If a correction is made to a published piece, we note it clearly at the top or bottom of that article with a brief explanation of what was changed and why.

What qualifies as a correction

A correction is issued when we have published something that is factually wrong — wrong statistics, wrong names, wrong dates, misattributed quotes, or information that has since materially changed and could mislead a reader acting on it.

A correction is different from an update. If we add new information to an article because the topic has evolved, we note it as an update. If something we stated was simply wrong, we call it a correction. We do not blur that line.

How to report an error

If you spot something on BizPremi that you believe is factually incorrect, we want to know. Reach out through our contact page at https://bizpremi.com/contact or via WhatsApp on +234 704 743 0480. Tell us the article title, the specific claim you believe is wrong, and if possible, a source that supports the correction. We will review it and respond.

We review every correction request. We do not dismiss them because they are uncomfortable or because fixing them means admitting we were wrong. Getting it right matters more than looking right.
